Hello yet Goodbye, iPhone 4

Kids nowadays. Bill Cosby would probably say this if he saw how teary-eyed I was when I said hello and goodbye to my brand new iPhone. My 3 year old son just made his daddy cry for playing with my iPhone minutes after unboxing it. Bet my baby says “Who’s the Daddy now?” while doing it.

I left my iPhone on the breakfast table one morning when my wife called for some help in the kitchen. My tyke was playing nearby and I had no idea that he would take interest on my iPhone placed on the middle of the table.

When I got back to the dining area, I saw my son playing with my iPhone as if it was his Hot Wheels toy car. I was aghast! Probably if my iPhone could talk, it was already weeping or crying for help. I stood there horrorstruck for a few minutes before I was able to go to action.

I couldn’t find the words to say. I just had to take the poor thing away from the hands of my boy and placed it near the television. My son cried so I had to take him to my arms and cuddled him for a while. When his wailing died down, I called my wife and showed her my precious broken iPhone and she stood there laughing. What a joke!

I had to do something. So I checked on the internet for some ideas. And I finally decided to sell my Broken iPhone. It’s the least I could do.

My iPhone – full of cracks and scratches – is broken and I couldn’t fix it anymore. I know how to repair and disassemble iPhones but I didn’t bother anymore. I know to myself that damaged iPhones will never function the way it does when it was new. All that I can do for myself is to sell my iPhone, buy a new one, and then end of story.

After spending time reading a lot about things, I confirmed that I could actually sell my iPhone without worrying about its worthless condition. Refurbishing and recycling companies will be the ones who will deal with my busted phone once I sold it to them.

The truth is, at that moment, all I wanted was to make sure that I could sell my iPhone for cash. I care less about what they will do once they have it. To sell my iPhone was my only concern.

Online and ready, I check on some sites for the highest quote. And after choosing which one, I made sure that each site I went to was no bogus buyer. I wanted to sell my iPhone fast and safe.

So to be able to sell my iPhone, I scrutinized even the slightest information about each site. And among the sites I checked on, it was cashforipads.com that won my nod. It was the company that I decided to sell my iPhone into. Among other sites, this site gave me not the highest quote, but the most realistic one.

Also, the site had all the certifications I was eyeing for. They had TRUSTe, VeriSign and BBB or Better Business Bureau certificates. These website regulators indicate that this company is no joke. So I continued to sell my iPhone and completed the online process.

Hence, to sell my iPad right away, I clicked again to get a quote. Then I found my way up until I finished filling up the shipping request form. I was done in a jiffy.

They also have a very neat and useful site. It was the fastest online deal that I have encountered so far. Also, I was glad that I was able to sell my iPhone without paying for the shipping fees. This company sure is a generous one.

Just about two days, I picked up the box they sent to my house and put my iPhone safely. I hand-delivered the package to the UPS store a few blocks away my neighborhood. Just in a week, I was informed that my money is already delivered through my PayPal account. All’s well that ends well.

My experience to sell broken iPhone was nice and it was effortless on my side of the deal. Seriously, I would never try to sell my iPhone to another company if such a thing happens again. Also, I’ll definitely be careful with my new iPhone when my tyke is around. Saying hello and goodbye to this gadget is painful.

Thanks cashforiphones!

Unboxing my iPhone the wrong way

I’m not clumsy; things just get in my way! I have been miserable even as a kid. I have walked into walls, knocked over some pile of stuff, and I even spilled orange juice over my crush. My life just sucks and I hate being this way. Though I could never ever forget when I broke my iPhone just when I was unboxing it.

I was overwhelmed with joy one night when I found out that my dad gave me an iPhone for my birthday. My mom told me that secretly and she said that I have to wait until morning to get it. But I couldn’t wait anymore. So I sneaked into my dad’s office to get the box and see the precious thing at last.

I didn’t turn on the lights so that my dad won’t notice my plan. I had my flashlight on instead. I clutched the flashlight tightly by my armpit and open the box. And just when I managed to get the iPhone outside, the flashlight slipped through my armpit. Worried that the sound of it smashing the floor might wake my dad up, I hurried over it and save it from falling.

Guess what? I saved the flashlight but because of my clumsiness, the iPhone slipped from the box and fell crashing to the ground. It was bits and pieces when I saw it. Oops. My new, unused iPhone is now broken.

Alright, I don’t want to mention about what happened to me when my dad found out. So I just have to find a way through this huge problem of mine. And that was through an iPhone trade in.

An iPhone trade in is like selling your iPhone to a company. You have the choice to sell it for cash or to trade it for another gadget. In my case, I will have my iPhone trade in for money. I have known of this stuff before and it’s in fact pretty good.

Actually, I got my laptop from the money I got from selling my previous Apple products online. So, I was well aware that I can also have an iPhone trade in via internet transaction. Since I know how things work in online dealings, I was pretty confident that I could actually have an iPhone trade in successfully. I know I can do it the right way.

The iPhone trade in is fairly easy, you just have to find a trusted site and you should know how to follow the rules. You should be patient in reading about their process and their terms and conditions. With that, all is yours to keep.

In my case, I went to cashforiphones.com since it is the iPhone counterpart of the site where I sold my laptop to. It was basically the same company I dealt with for my laptop. So I started my iPhone trade in right away by getting a quote.

I gave out all the essential information to complete my iPhone trade in. It was basically about my personal details like my contacts and shipping address. Also, I chose PayPal as my method of payment.

If you are wondering why I chose PayPal for my iPhone trade in, it’s because it’s the easiest way to get your money. Sure, getting a paycheck is also decent, but if you favor quicker means, PayPal will definitely suit your taste.

When I received the box, I fixed the package and I had it delivered to the UPS store immediately on the same day. I want my iPhone trade in to go in a flash, so as not to annoy my dad further.

I always check on my email to keep track of the updates about my iPhone trade in. and so just about a week; they have emailed me about my money so I hurried over and use it to buy a new iPhone. The iPhone trade in helped me a lot to replace the broken iPhone that my dad wanted to give me. Until now, I believe that this iPhone trade in service might help me again in the future.

As I have heard of the release of the new generation iPhone 5, I am planning to have another iPhone trade in as soon as it hits the stores. I will no longer be the clumsy me and unbox this gadget for my own sake. I’ll try as much as I can to change and be more careful. I wouldn’t want to be called a klutz up until my older days.

Selling your Used Laptop makes You Green!

The way we deport ourselves reflect the values we keep.

We certainly know what filthy and dirty mean. Cockroaches, flies, soiled trash, and landfills define the very concept of unclean and grossness. You may pull your punches and say, ‘I always keep my surroundings clean and free of junk, and therefore, have no reason to be upset’. You are right, though. But what you may not be aware of is that the meaning of dirt is not only limited to samples of horrid mess we usually conceive like grime, mud, molds, soil etc. Anything that is of no use to you and is just accumulating dust in the corners of your room is lucky enough to be called wastes. Consider the collectibles you had bought at McDonalds when you were 6 years old, the faded photographs of your Grandpa and Grandma at their first high school dance, the empty ink cartridges, the old newspapers and magazines your Dad read until he lost his eyeglasses or used jars when candies were still your addiction. All of these, though not necessarily disgustingly dirty, add up to the clutter and indirectly make you frustrated when you go over the heap looking for say, a lost document or misplaced earphones for your IPod.

These things, however insignificant, do not actually pose serious threats to mankind as it may do to you, but did you know that used and broken electronic devices such as laptops, cellphones, chargers, earphones, and even smaller parts of these like the motherboard, circuit board, and other scrap components that you either keep or throw away may deliver hazards with drastic effects not only to you but also the environment, which will then affect humanity at large?

E-wastes or electronic wastes are those described as broken, discarded, old electronic devices or parts that are no longer of use and are improperly disposed. Over the years a growing mass of e-wastes continue to load up as companies in electronics industry vie to produce the newer and better gizmos at the moment. As this happens, consumers of technological products frantically swarm to get their hands on the setting e-trends. If you are one of these techno-geeks, it must be an absolute judgment to say you have some classic examples of e-wastes sitting on your study table or hiding under your drawers and shelves.

What If you are eyeing another laptop brand that is new, and top of the line, but are enduring the pains of shelling out a big amount of money since you still have an old but inefficient one? Or not wanting even to be a nasty contributor of e-wastes? What should you do with your old laptop? Or say a laptop that is broken?
